The King County Sheriff's Chaplains
...are volunteers who serve without
denominational identification on a 24 hour 7 day a week availability. We
respond to accident and crime scenes and at the request of the King County
Medical Examiner to make death notifications.
We also respond to search scenes and find
ourselves in the presence of a volunteers like ourselves who are available to
respond to Sheriff's Office personnel and the community.

Trained for Service
Our training as ordained and licensed
pastors and links to parish ministry provide a multi dimensioned view towards
the service and compassion of those we are called to serve. In other word,
we are oriented to serve people in times of crisis and trauma--times that
they would not normally face.
